Jim began his career with Hancock Engineering in 1987 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin (Go Badgers). This past year, Jim celebrated 35 years of experience in consulting and municipal engineering. Jim is a Principal of our firm and serves as a Client Manager to several of our communities. Additionally, Jim serves as the Treasurer for Hancock Engineering. Jim has over 30 years of experience managing projects involving federal funding that are administered by IDOT.

When not at work, Jim and his wife love to travel, he is heavily involved serving at his church and finally had his lifelong dream to experience a Chicago Cubs World Series Championship in 2017.
