The improvements constructed as part of this project were located at the Village’s Southern limits from Maple Avenue to Wisconsin Avenue in the Village of Forest View. After a thorough design and cost analysis the Village decided to install the proposed water main through use of pipe bursting.
The improvement also consisted of the removal and replacement of minor combination concrete curb and gutter, driveways, and sidewalks, pavement patching, adjustment to utility structures, and sodding of disturbed areas.
The project involved a great deal of public education. Hancock Engineering held weekly progress meetings with Village and Contractor to ensure the project was moving along.
